L45 Strat

The L45 is Bill's twin blade masterpiece, adapting his original twin blade for his last and proudest achievement in noisefree design. The pickup uses stainless steel blades to guide a tightly focused but uniform magnetic window in a perfectly structured Alnico 5 circuit for unparalleled accuracy, low magnetic attraction and complete immunity to noise.

The L45 is a departure from Bill’s previous Strat blade pickups, capturing the sparkle and inbetween tones of early 60s pickups while delivering as much versatility as possible in a noisefree package. It is responsive to the finest nuances in tonal and dynamic changes while retaining a smooth attack character, balanced from crystalline highs down to a detailed, powerful low end.
